A School-to-Career Placement Program

 

What is Fast Track Placement?

Fast-Track Placement is a program designed to assist EMT students in attaining field positions with Gerber Ambulance Service upon graduation from an approved EMT Training Program.

The primary objective of the program is to permit applicants to complete basic entry requirements while still enrolled in an EMT program. The down-time between the completion of the program and the start of work will then be minimized.

 

Student Eligibility Requirements

• Ability to meet all certification requirements.
• Successful completion of an oral interview and physical agility.

 

Job Specific Training and Orientation

Upon successful completion of the classroom portion of your EMT program and Los Angeles County Certifying Examination, you will be scheduled for our next five-day training and orientation program. Under normal circumstances, you will be officially hired at this time and will therefore be paid for hours worked.
